My trade is music composition and performance. I began my career in arts management in Wellington and this led to roles in economic development as Creative Industries Project Leader based in Christchurch and in workforce development as an Industry Engagement Advisor, working across the UK. Collaborating with employers, arts organisations, and education providers, my career highlight is standing in the House of Lords seeing the launch of The UK Craft Blueprint Skills Plan, a document I helped write and produce in consultation with hundreds of employers.
In 2012, I moved to Kāpiti, and have just re-launched my business, Tango Creative Consultancy after a maternity career break. It’s a privilege to be part of a community-led organisation such as KEDA and I’m looking forward to collaborating on projects with others.
